This Willys Coupe Street Rod was custom fabricated by the owner, in-house and was completed in Lomita, California. The car is finished in Yellow with red-accented flames over a dark brown leather interior. Power is derived from the 496ci Keith Black big-block Aluminum V8 with an 871-supercharger mated to a custom 400 Turbo transmission with torque converter. This street rod puts out about 1,200hp but is currently de-tuned to about 800hp to make it more “streetable”. All new wiring has been installed throughout the car during the fabrication along with a Kenwood stereo system. This Willys Coupe is fitted with offset Rocket Racing wheels and sport 33”x19.5-15” Mickey Thompson rear tires. The fiberglass body is from Americar and features a custom built-in roll cage. This Willys Coupe comes with two books documenting the build in its entirety and includes photos from start to finish.
