Everyone, I have had 2 buyers not perform so I have decided to lower my reserve and once the first hits the starting bid there will be no reserve on this selling. Good luck and please feel free to reach out with any questions.
As I have outlined in my prior posts, this is a very nice driver that has some good work done. The paint is average but still looks good and the car drives well. I don’t think you will find a cheaper series one, low vin, with great upside than this car. Since my last buyer did not perform I have lowered the reserve. Good luck
Just added additional photos of the work done, prior appraisals and a book of receipts for the past 40 years of ownership.
I went to the Seller’s WH and looking at his M3, unfortunately it sold, but also looked at the Z. It is very well described and looks the part. Paint is ok but the interior looked good and the engine bay way very nice. He said that the carb’s need to be cleaned and adjusted but still sounded strong. Good seller.
I have been asked for additional photos and will post later today of the engine bay, doors, underside. At this time, the car is in “driver’s” condition and the new owner can have fun and restore at a later date. Good luck to the buyer.
Gotta lob a bid into this one. Cool car.
Back in play!!!!
Buyer did not get his loan and as such the car is available.
Darn, I wanted to long on this. Good buy Sugerlump!
Can anyone comment as to the cost of restoring back to stock?
Was at Willow Springs this weekend and there was a 260Z that was made out to look like a 240 and he was tracking it. Similar look to this one but the owner said he wanted a “show” and track car put together. Not sure if I agreed but definitely fun to watch on track. GLWS

Here are a few answers to questions asked; this was originally a Canadian delivery car, the restoration was done about 7 years ago, paint work is average, engine runs strong and recent maintenance done, we don’t have the orignal OEM parts, it is a very nice “driver” condition car.

GTS25 the paint job was average and looks good from a distance but up close has some orange peel and door gaps need to be better. As described above, this is a great driver that would be a good restoration candidate at a later time.
Seller can you comment on the overall condition of the paint job?
Early vin series one are the hot ticket. Suprised this has not sold yet.
looks like a very nice candidate for a restoration.
I have always wanted a 240Z. This one looks nice but how hard would it be to bring back to original?
These early Z’s have really been going up in value. Looks like a nice driver.
