Designed as an homage to the Le Mans-winning Ford GT40 race cars of the 1960s, the first-generation Ford GT was only offered in 2005 and 2006 and featured aluminum body panels over a superplastic-formed frame, roll-bonded floor panels, and a friction stir welded center tunnel.
This 2005 Ford GT is one of 2,027 produced for the model year and was purchased by the Seller in 2005 at South Bay BMW. Now showing just over 7,500 miles, the car is finished in Mid-Night Blue over Ebony leather and is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. This GT has all of the factory options including BBS forged aluminum wheels, painted brake calipers, white racing stripes, and the McIntosh stereo. This Ford GT is now offered in California with factory literature, a window sticker, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The optional 18″ and 19″ BBS forged aluminum wheels wear a staggered set of Goodyear Eagle F1 tires that measure 235/45 in front and 315/40 in the rear. The Brembo brake system incorporates gray-painted four-piston calipers as well as drilled and slotted rotors.
The mid-mounted 5.4-liter V8 is supercharged with dual overhead camshafts, and a dry-sump lubrication system. Factory-rated output was 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a helical limited-slip differential. In addition, the Seller installed all of the Ford Racing options including long tube headers, exhaust, racing pulley, racing tune and auxiliary oil cooler pushing the stock horse power from 550 to now over 700. Please note that at this time the current exhaust will not pass CA smog. Original parts to come with the sale.
The engine bay is signed by Carroll Shelby and Camilo Pardo, the chief designer of the car for Ford.

Love this color combo. Saw this one up in PV recently as well and between the headers and sport exhaust, this thing screams!
This has to be one of my favorite cars of all time. It combines muscle car, exotic and easy driving all in one. Amazing color combo too!!!
I think this was the car at the PV car show this past weekend and it looked and sounded amazing. It took the show with the sound of the exhaust!!!! GLWA
This is the best color combo of any GT made.
