The Pontiac GTO is often credited for popularizing the domestic muscle car segment of the automotive industry. This numbers matching example was originally purchased at Frahm Pontiac in Downey, CA and the current owner has owned the vehicle for 21 years. Approximately 1,700 miles have been added in those 21 years. This GTO has a 13 year old restoration which included an engine rebuild, exterior and interior paint in the correct Fontaine Blue color, re-chrome, re-stuffed seats, original AM radio restore, addition of a dual master cylinder, and brake booster. Not a frame-off restoration. The vehicle has been garage-kept since the restoration was completed and the paint and chrome are in excellent condition. Additional Pontiac parts as well as the PHS documentation will be included with the sale. This Pontiac GTO features its original California black plate and is turn-key ready to be driven and enjoyed.
