This 1973 BMW 3.0CSi is a European-market example that is finished in Fjord Blue Metallic over white leather and powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 16″ staggered Alpina Style Alloys from Coupeking, chrome bumpers and trim, power windows, wood trim, air conditioning, and a Clarion AM/FM stereo with a CD changer. The car has recently been fully serviced with upgrades to the suspension, new radiator, new exhaust, and all item that need to be addressed for a stunning “turn key” driver. Car is located in LA County and comes with a book of service records and a clean Montana title.

The Karmann-built body was finished in Fjord Blue from the factory, and the front fenders, outer rocker panels, and lower rear quarters were replaced before it was repainted under previous ownership. Trim includes chrome bumpers, an aluminum taillight filler panel, and a single side mirror. Paintless dent repair was carried out in anticipation of the sale, along with touching up paint blemishes and repairing the lights.

The cabin features white leather seats and white door panels with wood trim. Wood trim is also present on the dashboard, and additional equipment includes a heater, air conditioning, a wood shift knob, a Clarion AM/FM stereo with a CD changer, and aftermarket speakers. The after market black wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 240-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The odometer shows 46k kilometers (~29k miles), and the total mileage is unknown.

The 3.0-liter inline-six features Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection and was reportedly fitted with a E28 535i cylinder head during prior ownership.  Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission said to have been sourced from an E28 535i.

This is a great driver quality example that has had much attention done to prepare for the next owner.
