This 1964 Ford Galaxie is finished in pearlescent white over a black vinyl bench seat interior with chrome accents throughout the interior. This car was originally a 300hp 390ci V8 but the block has been replaced with a newer 390. The 390 is mated to the factory 4-speed manual transmission and shifts smoothly through the gears. This Galaxie has a Ford tri-power intake, Ford high-performance cast iron exhaust manifold, Ford Racing dual point (now with petronix) distributor, Magnaflow mufflers, Ford Trak Lok rear end with a ratio of 3:90, 15”x8” steel wheels with small 64’ caps, and Mickey Thompson 215 70×15 fronts with 275 60×15 rear tires. The seller has noted that he believes a racing cam has been installed due to the fast idle but does not know what kind of racing cam was installed. The chrome trim throughout the car is in excellent condition and the paint shows very well with only a few minor blemishes (shown in photos).
