The E30 M3 became the most successful touring car ever produced. The BMW E30 M3 is an iconic, beautiful, and legendary machine that is considered one of the most engaging street and or race cars ever produced. Although they were only a inline 4 cylinder, the iconic S14 2.3 liter motor, the almost perfect weigh distribution and handling made this car into a fun and engaging car. It was definitely not a street light racer with only 190 hp but when you were on a twisting road or a track just watch out. It came from the factory with M3-specific bodywork including widened fenders, special bumper covers, a taller trunk lid with a spoiler, and distinct C-pillars that were different than a standard E30.
This E30 M3 has been finished in Hennarot red over a black leather interior and is mostly original paint with an original interior. This car will not be for the collector but rather, a BMW enthusiast that wants to drive something unique and somewhat rare. The chassis has over 188K miles but the engine has been rebuilt from the original 2.3 to a 2.5 motor, with ported cylinder heads, lightweight flywheel, and an M5 oil cooler. In 2020 the car received new tires as well as an oil leak repair and the A/C system was serviced in 2021. The seller has noted that this M3 has long-term registration in California and passed California emissions test in January 2021. Additional work which any E30 M3 enthusiast will note includes;

Just stumbled onto this site, looking at the 308 GT4, and very cool cars. These E30’s are great track cars and it looks like this has been enjoyed with the right parts added. Not a buyer but someone will get a fun car.
Nice to see a car you can buy and drive and not worry about the miles. Great looking E30 and I love Henna Red, rare color for those who don’t know.
Absolutely one of the best BMW’s ever built. If you have not driven one of these on the track they are very special and will never be duplicated. I am bidding on the M2 but going to watch this one also.
BMWFan, the car is currently in with our mechanic and he is going through everything. Upon close of auction and sale the car will be turned over with everything working and all service items done. It looks and drives very nice and the 2.5 and suspension work really makes this car go.

These are amazing cars on the track, not too fast on the street but still fun. High revving engines and with the 2.5 it should go hard to 7500 RPM’s.
